Arthur Lee Moseley Major, U. S. Army Silver Star Awarded the Silver Star posthumously for his gallantry in action and his self sacrifice at Luzon, Philippines 16 February 1945. At Camp Bowie, Texas on 18 October 1945 it was presented to his mother in a solemn ceremony. As reported in the Fort Worth Star Telegram newspaper Friday 19 October 1945. |
