Joel Henry Chapin

Joel Henry Chapin was born on 9 August 1947.

On 13 October 1967, Private First Class Joel Henry Chapin was serving with 647th Quartermaster Company, 240th Quartermaster Battalion, Army Support Command Qui Nhon, 1st Logistical Command in Binh Dinh Province, South Vietnam.

On that day, PFC Chapin was killed in action when he sustained wounds from small arms fire. His body was recovered and identified on 17 October 1967.
