Ruth Parsons Schabacker

Ruth Parsons was born on 17 August 1905.

A Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Air Force, she had the unique distinction of being the model for the Nurse's monument at Arlington National Cemetery. She was the wife of U.S. Army Brigadier General Clarence H. Schabacker.

Death and Burial

Lieutenant Colonel Ruth Parsons Schabacker died on 5 January 1998. She is buried, with her husband, at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, VA.
