Patrick Lynch Patrick Lynch was born in 1847. He was mustered into Company G, 9th Pennsylvania Cavalry, U.S. Army on 26 October 1861. While serving with the Fourth Cavalry he was stationed at Fort Reno, OK. His unit was responsible for keeping Dull Knife and his camp of Northern Cheyennes from leaving the Darlington Indian Agency. Death and Burial Corporal Patrick Lynch was killed on 13 September 1878 during an uprising with the Northern Cheyenne's at Turkey Springs near Pagosa Springs, CO. He is buried at the Fort Reno Post Cemetery in El Reno, OK. |
