Brent Allen Adams Operation Iraqi Freedom
Brent Allen Adams was born on 29 April 1965 in West View, PA. Brent attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania and was in the Theta Xi Fraternity. He was an engineer for Sprint PCS and a member of the Pennsylvania Army National Guard's 2nd Brigade, 28th Infantry Division based in Washington, PA. His unit was deployed to Iraq for Operation Iraqi Freedom. In Ramadi on Thursday, 1 December 2005, Sergeant First Class Adams was killed when an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) detonated near his military five-ton truck during combat operations. Medals and Awards (Posthumous) Bronze Star Medal Death and Burial Sergeant First Class Brent Allen Adams was killed in action on 1 December 2005. He is buried at Saint John's Lutheran Cemetery in Pittsburgh, PA. He was the beloved husband for six years of Marilyn (Kuder) Adams; loving father of Daniel; loving son of Barbara (John) Benard and William (Pamela) Adams; proud grandson of K.Arlene Wimer, Dale and Pat Martin; cherished brother of Melissa (Steve) Nalevanko; dear uncle and godfather of Alexandria; dear uncle of Lily and Michael; dear step- brother of John (Lisa) and Brent (Jodi) Benard and Lisa (David) Anderson. |
